Core BELIEFS
Our mission is to help children become confident, caring, and independent thinkers. We want them to embrace their unique voices and perspectives. Inspired by the theories of Piaget and Erikson, we utilize a play-based learning approach that allows children to explore their surroundings and develop at their own pace. Our method celebrates the joy of learning through play, fostering both their cognitive and emotional growth. Through creative activities, we encourage children to take responsibility for themselves, their peers, their communities, and the world. We provide a solid academic foundation while promoting independence, decision-making, cooperation, creativity, and problem-solving skills in young children. Our curriculum integrates elements from HighScope, Reggio Emilia, and the Emergent Curriculum.
At the heart of our philosophy lies a deep belief in child-centered, play-based learning. We understand that children blossom when they are free to explore their surroundings at their own pace, uncovering the wonders of the world in their unique ways.
Our program is proud to be a part of Early Achievers, Washington State’s Quality Rating and Improvement System. This initiative champions high-quality early learning through continual assessment, professional development, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
We embrace the Teaching Strategies curriculum and assessment system, which enables us to craft intentional learning experiences, meticulously observe and document children's progress, and nurture their social-emotional, cognitive, physical, mathematical, literacy, and language growth. Together, we create a vibrant and supportive environment where every child can thrive.
